  • Included: 20 different day trips and an overnight to Great Wolf Lodge and Dorney Park
  • Hot buffet lunch and snacks included when you are on-site
  • Earn Community service hours for your resume, honor society, and clubs
  • We hire all our counselors directly from our CIT program. Be the best JC ever and join our team, securing your job a year in advance.

Country Roads CIT program is fun leadership training, where you have fun being a counselor-in-training with campers, but also have time each day to do activities with your friends. Great balance of “Work Hard, Play Hard!” Work is racing down the waterslide with campers; teaching a camper how to shoot a basket; and decorating cakes with your campers during cupcake wars. Play is being with all the other teens for intramural sports; making mardi gras masks in Italian class; learning to roll (and eat) sushi with the chefs from Sakura sushi; going on many fun trips and so much more!

Country Roads teens gain fun hands-on experience!

They love working with the campers and making a difference in a child’s summer; they are positive role models and they all become friends with one another instantly. In between working with the campers, they enjoy all the activities at camp, from flying trapeze to laser tag and dance. They play can jam, flag football, pickup games on our sport courts or turf soccer and so much more!

They excel in life skills they can only achieve in a camp setting --- from clubs as silly as simon sez contests; as challenging as the ninja warrior obstacle course; as rewarding as CPR/1st aid certifications and lifeguard training; and as fun as being on “Shark Tank”, creating new products, selling them and keeping the money.

Country Roads CITs are the spirit of camp and run the special events alongside Denver, our special event director…

…learning balloon artistry; running carnival booths; dressing up as Indians for the lion hunt; playing basketball against the Harlem Wizards; racing in the Camp Color Run; Every week is special!

The CIT Program is designed to have fun with the campers and your friends on-site one week, then a whole week of fun with your friends off-site on daily trips, including an overnight to the Great Wolf Lodge on the weekend and it is all included…

Broadway shows, NYC Luncheon Cruise, Medieval Times, Iplay, Laser tag, tubing down the Delaware, Dorney Park, Red Bulls Game, Dine-In Theater, Great Adventure, The Beach and many more exciting trips!

Teens Favorite Teachers...are our CIT Supervisors!

Every morning the CITs meet with a super friendly team of teachers, whose sole job is to support the teens and help them daily with their schedules.

And of course they join in the fun with the teens --- coaching soccer, basketball, and ultimate Frisbee; getting covered in the chocolate pudding tug-o-war; and racing across the pool during a game of greased watermelon. They are all local teachers, voted most popular in their schools for their caring and dedication.
